Proud's Pizza is situated in the car park of the main beach.
A verity of excellent pizza is baked in a wood and can be delivered to you on the beach or at your cottage by arrangement with Proud or his staff on duty. Prices range from about R85 upwards. His pizzas are highly recommended.

Darnall Country Club with its Golf course, pool and Restaurant is an easy 10km drive West of Zinkwazi on the P403 with its many pot holes. There are two bars to choose from – the ladies bar and a sportsmen’s bar as well as a popular restaurant called Miller’s Arms. The restaurant serves food on the veranda, in the bar, or in the cosy intimate restaurant with aircon. There is a budget menu and a more extensive restaurant menu. Their Indian curry and sea food is popular. Daily menus are put on Whatsap and these will be sent to you while you are staying at Zinkwazi. Roy the manager arranges and caters for functions such as weddings in these pleasant surroundings with rolling lawns and sparkling swimming pool.

BEIRA ALTA - The best food in Kzn! Always dependable and delicious. Situated in Lifestyle Centre in Ballito with free parking. Their lunch time Special Menu offered mid week only, (not weekends) is excellent value and served with a glass of gin or wine. I do not recommend visitors drive to Ballito at night as the N2 freeway is not safe. Ballito has good shopping so why not combine this with purchasing your food.

Grumpy’s beach bar and restaurant.
A unique venue, 20km south of Zinkwazi near Blythedale beach. Reminiscent of the Mozambique beach bars, it’s a casual outdoor restaurant for a good day.
It is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10-2 pm weather permitting. You’ll need to phone Heidi or Ernest to check.
Known for her excellent Peri-peri chicken and seafood served with rice and chips, we found a single enough for two. One sits at solid wooden tables and benches under umbrellas or trees with your feet in the sand. Not far to fall if the R&R gets the better of you!
Heidi’s restaurant is suitable for the whole family, but remember to phone and only on a sunny day.

Lagoon Lodge is situated in Zinkwazi village, on the banks of the Zinkwazi river. It has an outdoor restaurant under enormous trees where budget meals are served and a second more formal restaurant indoors. A large Boma with typical African bush atmosphere caters for fireside evening functions. If you visit here, look up into the branches of the fig trees and you will see lines of hanging fruit bats. if you are a keen birder, this is a property worth spending time in.
Raffia Restaurant Zinkwazi
Lagoon Lodge is situated in Zinkwazi village, on the banks of the Zinkwazi river. It has an outdoor restaurant under enormous trees where budget meals are served and a second more formal restaurant indoors. A large Boma with typical African bush atmosphere caters for fireside evening functions. If you visit here, look up into the branches of the fig trees and you will see lines of hanging fruit bats. if you are a keen birder, this is a property worth spending time in.
This is my choice for a quick lunch or breakfast. The staff are polite, the premises clean and Wifi is free. Food is good, well priced and served in a flash. There is a Wimpy in Lifestyle and in the Junction in Ballito
