Sightseeing
The spot is great! The water is sooo cold that the shopkeepers chill the soft drinks in the waterfall. Snacks (Maggi, soft drinks, tea/coffee, etc are available here too. We can pack you a lunch too if you like.
Please keep in mind that you'll be trekking for about 30 minutes (1km+) to get here, the kids and the elderly need to be careful. Also, you'll need to climb a few stairs so mind your clothing and shoes. It's a short walk to the waterfall and most won't notice the time or the distance.
If you're with friends, this is the place to chill.

Baijnath is famous for its 13th-century temple dedicated to Shiva as Vaidyanath, ‘the Lord of physicians’. The present name Baijnath (it was originally known as Kiragrama) became popular after the name of the temple. The village is located on the left bank of the river Binwa, a tributary of river Beas.
The Baijnath temple has been continuously under worship ever since its construction in 1204 A.D. The two long inscriptions in the porch of the temple indicate that a temple of Shiva existed on the spot even before the present one was constructed.

Cute little cafe with lots of natural lighting, books to read, free wifi, and fresh food to order and eat. The crépes are OK. I personally like their homemade Pasta and Salads. I love the ambiance, it is so quiet and peaceful too. One could just sit all day long gazing at the mountains, sip on coffee or eat something, read, a book or work on the laptop.

In 1975, the present 12th Kenting Tai Situpa's disciples from Derge and Nangchen region who settled in Bir, Himachal Pardesh Northern India, donated a protected pine forested land located in the foothills of the Himalayas. Here he started to establish Palpung Sherabling, which later became his seat in India. The building was designed by Kenting Tai Situpa, and is built of modern materials and finished in traditional Tibetan architectural fashion. The concept of the design follows the ancient science of geomancy. Palpung Sherabling cultivates and preserves the artistic lineage of the Palpung tradition. The monastery, only a few miles from the nearest town, retains its calmness and isolation.
