The Botanic Gardens highlight the flor and fauna of our environment in a peaceful setting in the heart of town. There is a small entrance fee, and while not a big garden, it's worth the visit.

It's a great place for a picnic and there is a restaurant & bar on site. If you hike the trail at Sage mountain you'll be at the highest point on the island and have an awesome view of the area. It is a shaded trail and a moderate intensity hike. It's about 10 minutes from our place. There's a small entrance fee to the park. Avoid on rainy days as it tends to be slippery.
