It is a beautiful place with a wood burning fire place, classic oak bar, and open windows looking out over the acres of fields and woods. As soon as you walk in, the aroma of the fireplace fills your senses, followed by the ambiance of the dining rooms. The menu has a great selection of meat and seafood dishes, and the salad bar was great. Most importantly, service was EXCELLENT. Prices vary. Burgers and French Dip were $10 and $12. Some higher steaks and seafood dishes were in the high $20s and $30s, but everything was great. Desserts we sampled were a fresh fruit pie, peanut butter and chocolate pie, and ice cream. All were excellent. It is tucked away on a country road in Northern Jersey.

No trip to Milford would be complete without a visit to this delightful cafe. Located just a hint off the beaten path in an old mill next to a babbling brook, the cafe offers an excellent selection of pastries, local goods (jams, honey...), and breads. You can take things to go, but your best bet is to sit down enjoy the atmosphere inside, or enjoy eating on the porch streamside. Try some coffee, a pineapple scone or a raspberry danish one of my favorites. Breakfast is so reasonably priced, you can't go wrong! If you aren't into sweets, they also create breakfast sandwiches, eggs, and pancakes with a flair. Lunch is a little bit pricier but is creative and delicious. I'm never disappointed i
