The hike to the top isn't for the lighthearted ~ but OMGosh SO worth it. The views are amazing. You can even pet a stuffed bear cub in the exhibit in the parking lot. Sadly it was hit by a car on the parkway....:9

About a ten minute ride from the Chalet, just off of Soco Road. Easy to miss so keep an eye out for it. A good size waterfall and so worth the short walk down to it.

A must see! The rose walk is amazing when in bloom. The views are incredible from any place on the lake. The entire walk is just under 3 miles with very little inclines and declines. There is a boat tour that takes place from May - October that gives you a little bit of the history of the lake. You can also rent paddle boats and kayaks to enjoy the lake also. There is a public pool to cool off during the summer.

You CAN have too much fun tubing....seriously, it's a blast! Dress warm and make a reservation...the rest is just pure fun!!!

One of the best collections of motorcycles to be put under one roof. This museum is a staple in Maggie Valley. Well worth your time!

The views are amazing and you can dine in style, have a simple sandwich or opt for snacks. They also offer several themed rides throughout the year. A must do when visiting the Smokys!
