At a 35-minute drive from Casa Mora B&B you'll find the beautiful secluded Orosi Valley, a peaceful place famous for its breathtaking surrounding mountains, perfect weather, and some of the best coffee in the world. Orosi is home to historical sites such as the oldest Catholic Church still in use in Costa Rica. It's also a great place for adventure travelers as you'll find rafting tours, canopy, and other attractions nearby.

Orosi is home to historical sites such as the oldest Catholic Church still in use in Costa Rica. It's an impressive site filled with history and traces of the first American civilizations. It's said that this was a commerce route between northern and southern American indigenous populations (Aztecs, Mayas, Incas, etc.). It's also a great place to go hiking through the Costa Rica rainforest with well-kept trails where you'll surely see a wide variety of tropical flora and fauna - great for birdwatching.

Exploring the park can take up to 4-5 hours stopping to enjoy the surrounding nature. You can plan to go alone or on a tour. If you're going alone consider planning for a picnic, you won't regret it!

There is an amazing mural honoring aboriginal cultural and one of the famous indigenous stone spheres (petrosphere) which its manufacturing techniques remain a mystery for archeologists. The perfectly manicured gardens at the main entrance are beautiful as well. Admission is free!
