Bar Beach kiosk is run by young locals (Phoebe Mills) who do a great job in a limited space. The menu is simple (because the kitchen is tiny) but the quality is very good. it's a very popular hangout for locals. That's always a good sign! On occasions impromptu gigs are catered for at sunset with local musicians playing.

Dulcie's is a great local restaurant and bar. But the food is simple. Just hamburgers or oysters! And the bar is well stocked. The ambience in the old cottage is great and the outdoor dining is really comfortable as well. Dulcie's is a must.

Nadgee is a magnificent park with many great remote places to visit and camp. Greencape Lighthouse, Bittangabee and Saltwater Creek are wonderful places to visit. You can book accommodation at the lighthouse through National Parks. There's a very popular walk (suitable for all ages/fitness) from Ben Boyd lighthouse to Greencape lighthouse. Wonboyn Beach is spectacular but access is difficult.
