America's oldest continuously-operating family-owned movie theater was established on the Manteo waterfront in 1918 by the Creef family, and is still a local favorite. You can spot the charmingly eclectic theater owner Buddy Creef barefoot (in true Outer Banks fashion) welcoming his guests nearly every night as they purchase their movie tickets (cash only) for a modest $7 before treating themselves to arguably the best popcorn on Earth for only two bucks. Showtime is 8:00pm nightly, so be sure not to miss this legendary Outer Banks tradition while you're here!
