Rain is decorated extensively with artwork from local artists, Shawn Crookshank and D.R. Mullins. Rain also has a lively bar scene on the weekends. MUST TRY: Melanie's bar concoctions (best bartender in town), wedge salad (seriously yummy), butternut squash soup, and seared ahi tuna!

Owner / Chef John Seymore recently updated his menu to include dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. A MUST VISIT.

The Virginia Creeper Trail is the perfect trail for biking, hiking or running. It has several different entry points. You can start at the trailhead on Pecan Street, or pick it up at a few more quiet spots.

The south side of the lake is almost completely forested, and the north side is a mixture of woods and open lands. These open lands provide good bank access for anglers. Hidden Valley Lake supports populations self-sustaining populations of largemouth bass, bluegill, redbreast sunfish, and black crappie. Channel catfish and northern pike are stocked
