Edinburgh Castle is worth at least half a day to visit. The history of the castle and Scotland's Kings and Queens is laid out really well. The views from the esplanade are also not to be missed.

There are miles of off road walks available. You can walk along the water of Leith to the sea port of Leith or countryside in Balerno, or cross onto the canal. You can also walk to a number of beaches.

South Queensferry is a pretty historic town with nice bars, restaurants, shops and spectacular views of our 3 bridges to Fife.
