One of our personal favourites. This place has a tapas type menu that changes approximately every two weeks, so great to share. We have enjoyed every dish, and they have a selection of vinyl that you can choose to play. Its loud and busy, but we highly recommend it. Also many of the choices are able to be vegan and/or gluten free

Sightseeing
A beautiful beach with “singing sands” that has a boat run splitting the beach. The most popular activity is bridge jumping into the run, where the tide carries you back to shore. One of our favourites and a lot of fun for kids.

This is a beautiful little seaside town that is fun to wander around for a little bit. The Lobster Barn has wonderful food and we certainly recommend the lobster roll.

This is a beautiful spot with great views and a lighthouse to tour. If you time it right, it’s also really interesting to see the tides collide.

There is a beautiful wooden boardwalk that ends with a walk up to a delightful beach. A little more secluded because it takes a bit more effort to get there, but it is a fun and worthwhile walk.

Fun little stop with delicious preserves, etc. all set up for free sampling. I don’t know anyone, who hasn’t left with at least one jar of preserves.
They have a gorgeous garden that is free to walk around, although they do have a jar for donations at the gate. There is also a butterfly conservatory that has an extra cost. I highly recommend taking at least a bit of time to explore this beautiful garden.

This beach is typically very busy but it’s beautiful and quite close to the Happy Place. As well, as it is a National Park, there are some fun kids activities and learning opportunities.

If you are travelling with kids, this is a worthwhile stop. Not only do they sell some unique and fun products, they make wooden toys in the back. Kids can assemble a piece free of charge, that they can then purchase and have personalized or simply have it put in the store for sale. We did this on a rainy day and would recommend it.
