Making the Trip on your own
To get to Chichen Itza, making the trip on your own you can take a bus from downtown Cancun to Chichen Itza, which regularly leaves very early.

The costs for entry to the Archaeological Zone will depend on whether you are a Mexican traveler or an international traveler. The cost for international travelers is $ 417 Mexican pesos.

Buying a Tour
If you buy a Tour, they pick you up at the entrance of the Condominium and take the whole day.
Regularly includes food, transportation and entrance to the archaeological site. As well as a stop in Valladolid, which is the closest town to the Archaeological Zone.
It all depends on the Tour you buy, it can include swimming in a cenote.
