Great Greek and American food with a full bar. Known for it's salads and shwarma, but my favorite menu items are their quesadillas or steak and cheese sub with waffle fries.

AWESOME chicken tenders and the BEST Reuben sandwich we've ever had. And they deliver. Not much of a sit down place, but to grab-and-go or for catering, they cannot be beat. Large, mostly Italian, menu, but their cheeseburger sliders are the bomb and can be ordered in bulk!

American farm-to-table restaurant across the river in Lovettsville, VA. Their menu changes with the seasons and they like to put interesting twists on standard fare, like deviled eggs and mac & cheese. They also offer Vegan and Gluten-free menu items. Great place to go after a tour of one of the many local wineries. A little pricey for the inexpensive decor, but the food is worth it.

This is part of the Appalachian Trail and is only 1/2 mile from our house. You can hike for 1000 miles in either direction. But if you head up the mountain from here a little more than 1 mile you will come to an overlook of the Potomac River. Great hike and usually less crowded than Maryland Heights.

This is a great hike that starts from Harpers Ferry Rd along the Potomac River on the Maryland side. It's a 2-1/2 mile hike each way and is well worth the trip. It's best suited for active adults and children. This is not a "walk in the park" kind of hike. You can make the hike longer by adding in the loop to see the Old Stone Fort, ruins from the Civil War.
