Eat inside, eat outside, eat with your fingers, everything is possible here, buy delicious food specialties and take them home with you, or just go there to have a nice cup of coffee and feel the atmosphere. Many Copenhageners come here to have lunch and to shop for what to make for their dinner. Because here you will find things you do not find in your daily supermarket.

This place is within walking distance if a 20 minute walk does not scare you and just that twenty minutes might whet your appetite and that's good because here at Bistro Boheme the menu is so inviting and rich in fantastic dishes and the room itself is wonderfully decorated and also as an extra bonus, the evening slides quietly and calm in to a party with delicious cocktails and good music ... so walk there and save your money for the taxi home, that's my advice .... Bistro Boheme is also a great place for a lunch. Already on the street, the delicious scents from the kitchen lure you into the high-ceilinged cave of the pleasant chef Buddha at Bistro Boheme. The French bistro has one of the city's most eclectic and personal premises. It is all staged by the ubiquitous chef-buddha, Per Thøstesen. »The eclectic element of the decor is repeated in the menu, which offers everything from curry herring over carpaccio to caviar. It takes a very safe and versatile kitchen to master such a card. Fortunately, that's exactly what you can do here on Esplanade 8. "

If you like fish and partying then choose Kødbyens Fiskebar, which is what I would describe as a luxurious fish bistro. Understood in the way that the atmosphere is hip and relaxed in a raw industrial interior that would hardly score high on any comfort barometer. The tables are small, the music loud and the acoustics poor, but on the other hand the kitchen and the ingredients are excellent and the atmosphere good, really good in fact and then it becomes a party later in the evening. In the summer there is a very large outdoor dining area.

Nyhavn is a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen. Stretching from Kongens Nytorv to the harbour front just south of the Royal Playhouse, it is lined by brightly coloured 17th and early 18th century townhouses and bars, cafes and restaurants. The canal harbours many historical wooden ships. Nyhavn you must experience, here the world's longest bar, as people call the pier edge, because on a hot summers day all people will sit with a beer, or with a bottle of cool white wine, bought cheaply at the local grocery store, to the great annoyance of the many restaurants lying side by side on the very same pier. Great fun. Watch out in terms of dining, some restaurants are good and some can be tourist traps, I often go to "Skipper kroen" and "Nyhavnskroen47" Also the harbor and canal boats dock here.

This is where our Queen lives, you can always see if she is at home, as there are 2 soldiers on duty. The changing of the guard is very popular with tourists and children in particular. At Amalienborg, there is a change of guard daily, there are three types of guards: King's guard, Lieutenant's guard and Palævagt. During Kongevagt, there is a daily guard parade from Livgardens Kaserne in Gothersgade, Copenhagen, at 11.27. The march towards Amalienborg passes i.a. Round tower and Kongens Nytorv. The parade consists of a music corps of 36 musicians, a drum corps of 12 drummers and the guard, which consists of 36 guards. Shortly before At 12.00, the parade marches on the castle square, where the resigning guard is lined up with a rifle. Then there is a switching march between the resigning guard and the incoming guard. The flag, which is under the command, is handed over by the flag lieutenant to the adjutant on duty. During the change march, the Music Corps plays.

This local exudes atmosphere, an atmosphere that takes you 100 years back, back to the time when the cakes were made by our grandmother, big "disgusting" ha ha creamy cakes as only she could make them. Take the train "Kystbanen" to Elsinore (50 minutes) be sure to have a seat on the right side of the train, so you can enjoy the view of Øresund and Sveden all the way up. Visit the well-preserved Kronborg Castle, where Hamlet lived, you know him "to be or not to be". Elsinore is also a lovely provincial town, with many fun houses and they are famous for their HUGE "Brostræde ice cream" they are a whole meal. From Elsinore you can take the ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden, you do not need any pasports, but bring it anyway, the crossing takes 20 minutes and the ferries sails all the time. And then you can brag about that you have also been to Sweden when you get back home.

Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød is among the most beautiful of our many castles. Take the S train to Hillerød "45 minutes" and visit this gem of a well-preserved castle, take a round trip and see the beautiful halls and you will dream yourself all the way back to the time when Kings were Kings and where Queens were real Queens for a reason (and not just something they think they are) ha ha. You can also go for a walk in Hillerød city, but if I were you, I would hurry back to good old Copenhagen. Sorry Hillerød, but you are not as exciting as a city that one wants to see.

Tivoli, also known as Tivoli Gardens, is an amusement park and pleasure garden in Copenhagen, Denmark. The park opened on 15 August 1843 and is the third-oldest operating amusement park in the world, after Dyrehavsbakken in nearby Klampenborg, also in Denmark, and Wurstelprater in Vienna, Austria. I love Tivoli in the evening, with all the lights and the beautiful floral decorations, very romantic in fact, here are many restaurants and of course also the possibility of many rides in the ruchebanen, the balloon swings, the golden tower and the boats on the big lake.

Freetown Christiania, also known as Christiania, is an intentional community and commune of about 850 to 1,000 residents, covering 7.7 hectares in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen.
