Places to eat/things to do in Charlottetown
A few of our favourite things!
We highly recommend checking out the Charlottetown Farmer’s Market, just a 12 minute walk from our house or a 2-minute drive. Great food, great coffee and tea, and you can pick up some groceries for your stay. Here is the website for more information: https://charlottetownfarmersmarket.com/

The Buzz: this is a free newspaper and website that lets you know what’s going in PEI: movies, live music, art exhibits, craft fairs, you name it! You can find copies pretty much anywhere in downtown Charlottetown and at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, otherwise their website also covers everything: https://buzzpei.com/

Things to do in PEI
What we recommend if you're looking to venture outside of Charlottetown and explore the Island.
We prefer the New Glasgow Lobster Suppers (co-founded and owned by one of Brodie’s distant relatives). Definitely book in advance or show up as early as possible as this is a VERY popular spot! https://peilobstersuppers.com/

Only open during the summer. Their food is delicious but they also have the most beautiful setting overlooking the Hunter River in New Glasgow, PEI. About 30-45 minutes away from Charlottetown. Walk around the beautiful gardens while you wait for your table!

one of our favourite North Shore beaches. Situated within a National Park, so there is an entry fee, but worth it for the beautiful, quieter beach, the dunes and the hiking trails. https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/pn-np/pe/pei-ipe/visit/greenwich
