The church has one nave with a beautiful painted ceiling. In the Byzantine Museum there are about a 100 icons that cover a historical period of three centuries.

Admire its beautiful art works, including the famous "Dying Achilles" statue and the "Triumph of Achilles" by Franz von Matsch that depicts Achilles dragging Hector’s lifeless body in front of the Gates of Troy. Achilleion's location provides panoramic views of Corfu town to the north and of the southern part of the island. The palace garden is impeccably landscaped.
