There are miles upon miles of trails here that are largely unexplored by the general public! Take the path less traveled (so don't follow the crowds) and you'll be treated to some beautiful trails. Lots of little historical spots here too and views all the way out to the New Haven harbor!

You're supposed to have a permit to go here, but most of the general public parks outside the gate. I happen to have a permit though! No animals allowed here is it is a nature preserve, but this place is great for some trail running and they have boat rentals in season. You will see plenty of deer here too!
