A delightful mix of fresh goodness using locally sourced food with a South East Asian influence. We recommend all of their seafood dishes and grab a table out the back of the weather is fine - it’s a fantastic atmosphere

The best bakery on the east coast of oz (and that’s not just us saying it!) a stop at Barnett’s is a must when in Crescent Head. Established in 1934 and with generations of experience this bakery has everything you need. Head in there (our favs - the cheeseburger pie and the vanilla slice!)

The first carpark after Racecourse point is the northern end of Delicate Beach (also known as Sunsets). The walking is beautiful and leads to a lovely part of the beach. Keep your eyes open for our resident koala.

Point Plomer is an amazing beach, perfect for swimming and surfing. There is an easy walk around Point Plomer headland where you might see dolphins, whales and echidnas. The road from Big Hill beach to Point Plomer is a dirt road and can be hazardous after rain so be careful

Starting at the picnic area by the beach, this short loop trail winds around the top of the headland, providing sweeping views of the pristine coastline and rocky shores below. Find a spot on the headland to sit and take in the untouched beauty around you. In winter and spring, it also makes for a great vantage point for whalewatching. The walk meanders through low heath vegetation and pandanus palms before taking you into rare coastal rainforest. The strangler figs, coastal blackbutt and large variety of rainforest species create a striking backdrop for the abundance of wildlife and birds you’ll find in the rainforest. At sunset, you might even see microbats flying through the canopy.

Crescent Head is famous for floating down Killick Creek. Grab a floaty or board and start at the end of the outgoing tide - and float your way to the end. Hop out, walk back and do it all again. The crystal clear water makes this a fun activity for kids and adults. Then spend the rest of the day chilling between the flags at Crescent Head main beach. Or sit on the point and watch the surfers catch the world famous waves.

Looking for something else to do? Head to the country club and play a round on the 9 hole picturesque golf course. Or book a tennis court for an hour or two. Our favourite - bare foot bowls - grab a lane and give it a go. There are raffles most Friday and sundays and you can grab a meal at Barnseys upstairs or Moes Chinese downstairs.
