Lucky for us, the only place for Indian food in town also happens to be a great one! Close enough to walk to for dinner (about 10 min), it's also one of our favs for take-out. The Palak Paneer and Tikka Masala are mainstays.

Soap Lake is a unique mineral lake that's long been reputed for its healing properties. Before it was named Soap Lake, Native Americans knew it as 'Smokiam' which means 'Healing Waters.' We recommend a day trip to West Beach - a public park off of Ash Street. This lovely park is free of charge and it has free outdoor shows to use after your swim / soak, which you'll want to use to remove excess minerals. And if you're lucky, you might hear impromptu Ukrainian music on the beach that goes straight to the soul.
