Neighborhoods

Quiet and nice walk in Ólafsvík along the harbour, with two nice restaurants and the town's waterfall. Then take a swim in the pool. Both indoor and outdoor pool with jacuzzi and small slide for the children. There is a small supermarket, Kassinn, which is only a two minute walk from the house. Ólafsvík is ideally located to explore the peninsula with all its nature and magic from the Snæfellsjökull glacier. There is a museum and handwork shop, Pakkhúsið which is worth a visit.
