Great places to swim
This is a great place for swimming, kayaking and outdoor sports. It's also close to Wood Lake which also has great swimming and water sports. There's a great little burger place to eat and get ice cream on those hot days.

Juniper Bay Beach
Great place to swim and have a picnic.
It's a bit of a trek to get to the water, but it is the nicest spot in Vernon to swim at Okanagan Lake.

Just up from the main campground is a yellow gate with parking. The mountain biking there is great. There are nice green and blue runs, so there are some good spots to take kids as well.
