Guide to Cabbagetown

Food scene

La Semilla - Slightly upscale vegan Latin American in a tropical feeling setting. Great cocktails too!
If there's one restaurant you must visit in Cabbagetown, it's Little's. A neighborhood grill and grocery, it's been in the neighborhood for over 100 years. Best Little Burgers anywhere, great fries and onion rings, veggie burgers too. Also, a great spot for the basics: beer, wine, toilet paper. Be sure to check it out!

Just 3 short blocks away, Krog Street Market is a gourmet food hall that offers something for everyone. Our favorites are Ticonderoga club and Yalla's.

The newest neighborhood addition with an eclectic mix of Asian street food and pizza. My favorite is the Vietnamese pork pizza, sounds weird but it is delicious!

Sightseeing

One of my favorite places to wander around - beautiful plants and tons of Atlanta history - gravesites include Maynard Jackson and Margaret Mitchel. Plus my dog loves to run around and chase squirrels here.

Staying less than a mile from the birthplace of our country's greatest civil rights leaders, I highly recommend checking out this park and learning about Atlanta history.

If you have time, I highly recommend a bike ride or walk down the Beltline to Piedmont Park. Tons of restaurants and bars along the way, the Old Forth Ward skate Park is about a mile down and just past it is Ponce City Market - in the old Sears Roebucks building with tons of shops and restaurants.

Bars

About 500 feet away - the only bar I would feel safe going to with during the pandemic - outside seating only, one at a time. This is a great neighborhood establishment.

Just down the Beltline with French doors opening up and a great beer selection. It's a little Frat boy ish, like most Beltline bars, but in my opinion the best of those options.

Really fun decor with campsite vibe - also a little frat boy-ish, but well done. Try the flower pepper - so tasty and dangerously easy to suck down :)

Okay, so you can probably tell I'm a bit of a foodie. An even bigger trek but aisles and aisles of international foods - they have probably 30 different aisles each dedicated to a different country or region. Worth the trip!
