West Wittering beach is the local sandy beach. It is lovely but you must pre book parking, it gets very busy and booked up a long way in advance. The traffic to get there can be very bad!

If you are looking for a long walk up into the South Downs National Park this is a really great one. It can be steep in places depending on the route you take. Don't leave valuables in you car in the car park!
