Here's a secret - this is where all the boats from the Waianae Harbor or Ko olina bring people to snorkel. Parking for this beach is makai side south of the power plant. Best to be a strong swimmer.

My favorite beach on the leeward coast. Very protected and great for kids. You'll often see spinner dolphins. Uncle George has stand up paddle free clinics 4 days/week.

Drinks & Nightlife

Inside the Marriott on Kalakaua, they offer some great Hawaiian music nightly. We love Sunday's when ki ho`alu (slack key) is performed by George Kuo, Martin Pahinui and Aaron Mahi.

Shopping

In an old sugar mill, we always stop here to get wonderful gifts and watch the soap being made. The country store behind it has some interesting products, many locally made - and a showcase of art.
