“The most famous street in downtown San Francisco. Great place for photos and to walk up + down. If you have a car, definitely drive down for a fun experience!”

“This old-school movie palace has been a fixture in the Castro neighborhood since 1922. The grand interior and signature pre-show organ music are worth the price of admission alone — but stick around for their ever-changing roster of classic films, spirited sing-alongs, and rotating film festivals. Absolutely one of our favorite destinations in SF!”

“One of the most photographed locations in San Francisco, Alamo Square's famous "postcard row" at Hayes and Steiner Streets is indeed a visual treat. A tight, escalating formation of Victorian houses is back-dropped by downtown skyscrapers, providing a stunning contrast. The grassy square itself is an ideal midday break. One of 11 historic districts designated by the Department of City Planning, the area includes several bed and breakfast inns.”

“A former bathhouse that burned down, Sutro Baths is a must for sight-seeing. Travelers can still see remnants of the former bathhouse and it is extremely cool to walk on the skeleton of it. There are a couple easy trails near Sutro Baths that lead to killer views of the Golden Gate Bridge!”

“There's a lot going on at the Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street. This iconic building underwent a stunning renovation in the early 00's so is worth a visit just for that. It houses a foodie paradise along with adjunct business like Heath Ceramics and the Gardener. On Saturdays and Thursdays there is a traditional Farmers Market surrounding the building from 8-2(Sat) and 9-1(Th). My favorite place to rest after taking it all in(and it's a lot!) is Boulet's Larder. ”

“Another of our favorites. It's only open Friday-Sunday, so plan accordingly. See how the soldiers lived while guarding the entrance to the Bay. Walk up to the top and stand directly under the Golden Gate Bridge.”
