“A sumptuous castle immersed in the Sicilian countryside. If the gorgeous interiors will remind you of cinema glory, your memory would be right: "The Leopard" famous dance scenes were filmed here. The garden is an experience in itself, where you can (literally) lose yourself in a fascinatingly historical labyrinth.”

“The 'Broken Pomegranate' is set to amaze you: start your visit in the main Corso where you can deviate and lose yourself in out-of-time narrow streets to emerge before the glory of Duomo di San Pietro. Then climb onto narrow streets again until you reach the wonder of Duomo di San Giorgio: Sicilian Baroque will be taking you aback.”

“ Scicli is now well known from the Inspector Montalbano series and has grown in popularity as a tourist destination over the last 5 years. Scicli has a good range of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops and market stalls selling almost everything that one needs. The little super market near to San Bartolomeo church is very well stocked. A flea market is held on the Piazza Italia every third Sunday in the month. The 1930's cine Italia on Piazza Italia is a must for architecture or film lovers, all films are dubbed in Italian. Scicli has a number of festivals which are spectacular held at Easter, in March; San Guiseppe where horses are draped in flowers and another in May. ”
