“Another must see! This is a double whammy. Not only do you get the museum itself but as your entering, you are walking up the famous Rocky steps! The statue is there as well. “Hey Adrian!!””

“This is one of the most iconic symbols of Philadelphia. Any trip to the historical sites would be incomplete without stopping to see the bell and hear a bit about its history.”

“Sit on a bench and enjoy bustling Philadelphia. Great place to take food from one of the many restaurants in the nightborhood. Or take a break from shopping on Walnut street at the many boutiques and stores. On Saturdays, the park holds a large farmers market where you can get fresh flowers, baked goods, produce, and local handmade goods.”

“Simply a must-see at least once in a lifetime. If you love Post-Impressionist art, art history, or truly unique museum experiences, this is possibly the best the US has to offer. Be prepared to see A LOT of Renoir. First Sunday of the month is free but can be crowded and hectic.”

“You can spend hours at this museum. The main audio tour is very well done and subsequent audio tours cover every possible subject as it related to incarceration in the US. This is a must-see for lovers of history. The neighborhood it is situated in is also lovely. Really enjoyable walk to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and other museums.”

“I always pass through here on the way to visit my parents or just getting to the other side of town. It's a great building, full of architectural details. Dilworth Park, on the west side, has an ice skating rink in the winter and a run through water fountain in the summer. Love Park, across the street at the end of Ben Franklin Parkway, has the LOVE sculpture and a great view up the parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art (with the Rocky steps). A great place to hang out and take a break. During December they have pop-up shops (Christmas Village in Love Park and Made in Philadelphia in Dilworth Park), with food and a bar, light show, ferris wheel, and a little train ride. Carousel in the center of City Hall, and musicians and performers. Go across the street on the east side to Macys and catch the light show and Dicken's Village of A Christmas Carol there.”

“The Magic Gardens spans three city lots, and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth. It is a giant piece of art you can walk through and explore nooks & crannies. It is whimsical & facinating. To date, it is the largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. They host fun events, DIY art nights, live music & BYOB. Check the website calender for more information. ”

“The Art Museum has always been one of my favorite places in Philadelphia. I love the location, very walkable. Actually if you have time to.spare I would recommend renting a bike (Belmont/Parkside) and taking a ride through Fairmount Park along MLK Drive and checking out the Water Works which is located on the back side of the Art Museum ”

“Pat's and Geno's are the two most recognizable spots to grab a cheesesteak for people outside of the city. People who live in the city, however, think of them as a bit of a tourist trap. If you must make the trip over and see for yourself, it's about a 10-minute walk. We'd recommend Pat's, as it's less of a spectacle than the neon monstrosity of Geno's”
