Farmers Market

“This is one of my personal favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning... grab some fresh, local produce, fresh cut flowers, a coffee and a homemade baked good! Biggest farmers market in the city on Saturday mornings (huge white tent located behind the market). Antique market on Sunday mornings. The main part of the market is open Tuesday - Saturday. The have a great selection of fresh meat, fish etc including harder to find cuts of meat and seafood. Also, a great place to go to have lunch. Really good bagel places, bakeries, sandwich joints etc. ”

“The pedestrian-only Distillery District, set in quaint 19th century buildings that once housed a large whiskey distillery, draws crowds to its cobblestone streets lined with hip indie restaurants, bars and boutiques. Art lovers come for the galleries, outdoor sculptures and dance, music and stage performances at the area's several theatres. In December, the annual Toronto Christmas Market takes over the streets.”

The Market is also home to a wide array of specialty grocers, bakeries and cheese shops. Hipsters frequent trendy bars, cafes and international restaurants that range from casual to fine dining. Students and families populate Victorian houses along tree-lined streets.”

“The Rogers Centre (affectionately known as the SkyDome to locals) was the world's first stadium to have a fully retractable motorized roof! The stadium has been home to a plethora of sports events over the years, but also wrestling, concerts, monster truck rallies, ice skating and more. Be sure to check out what events are happening during your stay!”
