One WTC is the tallest building in the United States, the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, and the seventh-tallest in the world. The supertall structure has the same name as the North Tower of the original World Trade Center, which was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The new skyscraper stands on the northwest corner of the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center site, on the site of the original 6 World Trade Center. The building is bounded by West Street to the west, Vesey Street to the north, Fulton Street to the south, and Washington Street to the east.”

“At the heart of lower Manhattan. This is the Freedom tower and the 911 museum are right there. This is where you end up if you take the WTC PATH train into the city. From here you can grab other subway lines or walk to the Wall Street area, Battery Park, City Hall and if you're adventurous walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to Brooklyn. There is a walking/biking path on the water that you can take all the way up the west side of the city on the Hudson. Very scenic. You can rent City Bikes here and many other places as a fun way to get around.”

“This is our neck of the woods! Williamsburg is a dynamic and thriving New York hot spot. The birthplace of Indie Rock, it’s now a full of small and eclectic boutiques, restaurants and public spaces. Amid all the change, there’s still a sting Latino and Hassidic community that call this place home, making Williamsburg a fascinating example of how cities are facing in the rise of the attention economy and the boutique coffee ization of the neighborhood. Whether you’re interested in urban Life or just want to have a relaxing and iconic Brooklyn vacation, You could spend your entire trip exploring and meeting the community. ”

Library
“Brooklyn's Central Library is literally open 7 days a week for your convenience. The building's history dates to 1889, when the Brooklyn Park Commission was authorized to select a location for the library. In 1912, ground was broken on architect Raymond F. Almirall’s imposing Beaux-Arts design, but construction slowed and eventually ceased in the following years as the nation and the borough endured economic difficulties brought on by World War One and the Great Depression. A single unfinished wing of the building sat empty on Flatbush Avenue for more than two decades. Construction resumed on a reimagined Central Library in 1935, and the building finally opened to the public on February 1, 1941.”
