LOCATION! You will be central to everything on the OBX.. shopping, dining and only 0.8 miles from the beach. This 1900sq.ft freshly furnished home is in the perfect location for a beach getaway. Located on a quiet street in a peaceful neighborhood, this cottage backs up to the Nags Head Woods Preserve which offers privacy and serenity. The cottage is also walking/biking distance from the beach, Dowdy’s Park, the YMCA, coffee shops, great restaurants, and is less than a mile from Jockey's Ridge.

The Lost Boys Hideout is our dream house located so close to the beach yet offering our two little boys the wonders of running through the woods as this home backs up to the Nags Head Woods Preserve. The space is designed with a modern coastal aesthetic and offers an open floor plan as you walk into the living space which then connects to the kitchen, dining area, and sun room which then flows right out the back door to a spacious outdoor living large deck space overlooking the Nags Head Woods. The house offers a king size bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom with a queen bed. The third bedroom a full bed and the fourth bedroom two twin beds. There is ample room in closets and dressers for clothes and belongings. There is also room in the loft to put a blowup mattress if you so desire (not provided). The kitchen comes fully equipped for all of your cooking and dining needs. There is a large front porch and a large welcoming back deck to enjoy the peace and serenity of the NH Woods Preserve.

We provide bed linens and bath towels, hand soap, and detergents. Starter items such as a few rolls of toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, dish soap/sponge and some dishwasher pods. We have a smart television in both the living room and the master bedroom for your streaming needs (no cable television). *Please note the fireplace seen in the living room pictures is for aesthetics only, it is not functional for guest use.
