Roger is English, Rendai is Iban. We decided the location in the Borneo Highlands rain forest was too good to keep just for us. So we renovated the original house, for guests. It's an ideal place to relax after exploring the area. Enjoy hot showers, aircon, a kitchen and a rumah ruwai with internet connection, books, games and a guitar. Fishing is 'pay as you catch'
It is self-catering, and you will need your own transport.

Mekân
A traditional style structure : brick ground floor and wooden first floor, reached by stairs. Shared kitchen, bbq area and chill area. Garden is fenced, and includes fishponds that are not fenced. Bedrooms have their own entrances.

R&R Haven is in a prime location for hiking & kayaking in the scenically beautiful area of Borneo Highlands. See OrangUtans at the Semengoh Rehabilitation Centre; crocodiles at Jung’s Crocodile Farm; limestone features (eg the Fairy Cave & Wind Cave) Hot Springs & waterfalls; raffelesia and exotic fruits; longhouses at Ana Rais & Benuk, the vibrant city of Kuching (with its waterfront and rich mix of cultures.) and local markets.

PLEASE NOTE: The Guesthouse is at the junction of Jalan Borneo Highlands and Jln Jambu/Bayur. It's on Google Earth.The GPS reference to the gate are: 01deg 14’43.13” N ; 110deg 17’ 30.66” E. (or 1.245313, 110.29185) I tried to alter the map pin (which is in the wrong place), but Airbnb didn't let me!
We will collect and drop you off anywhere in Kuching (80 per carload, each way)
We can book kayaking and/or trekking trips for you
We can provide meals, given some notice (25 per person)
