This apartment is for people that are in Brisbane on business or relocating and need a place to live, work, and have fun. Comes with a 4G wireless router. (faster than basic Broadband), 55" tv, a dining table that seats 5 comfortably.

This beautiful, light filled apartment position is the perfect place from which to explore Brisbane and South East Queensland. Situated in the heart of Brisbane's nightlife district in Fortitude Valley, diagonally across from the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, this apartment offers guests a variety of music venues, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, markets, nightclubs, art galleries and boutique clothing shops, all right at your door step.

The heritage listed Sun Apartments building, previously home to Brisbane's Sun Newspaper, retains much of the original Art Deco character. Located on the first floor, this stylish loft-style apartment has double glazing and extra thick external walls so that when you are ready to stop exploring (and partying) the noise is left outside. The windows provide fantastic insulation against city noises, even on Friday and Saturday nights you can barely (if at all) hear any of the neighbouring nightclubs. The magnitude of this is always changing as the venues around the apartment change hands and in-line with different events and music festivals.

The apartment features soaring 6 meter high ceilings and five huge windows. The open plan layout includes a fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and dishwasher. The master bedroom has a very comfortable queen sized bed.

A full size washing machine/dryer is provided.

Bus stops are literally at your door step and the Fortitude Valley train station (utilised by every train line) is only 300 meters away. The city-cat ferry stops at beautiful New Farm park at the end of Brunswick Street where the Powerhouse arts and cultural centre is also found, a quick bus trip away. Both Kangaroo Point and the City are a short stroll or bus trip away.

The Emporium complex channels a European village feel, James St showcases Australian fashion labels and Brunswick St is home to multicultural dining options.

I live in this lovely heritage listed building that is in the middle of Fortitude Valley. I think this building is under appreciated and has been looked over. SO I am here to fix that.

My first listing is currently not available until November. My Second listing is just coming available next week. September 7th 2019. I don't aim to make a large profit off of my rentals. So I keep the prices low.

Despite low prices I try to add in amenities that are not in a traditional airbnb.
-Large Spaces (approx 64m2 or 680 ft2)
-Android Smart TV (netflix included)
-Sit Stand Desk
-Very comfortable mattress
-high quality bedding
-Rain Shower
- a CLEAN place to sleep at night.

There are a few paint blemishes in the apartments and that is another reason the prices are low. My unit available in November, has recently had a major aesthetic upgrade and is just a lovely space to be in. It is the artdeco/Industrial loft I want it to be. Although the bathroom will get redone in 2020. (this will be a plush listing when the bathroom is installed.)

I am testing the waters and should have 3 properties available over Christmas. I live in each unit to make sure it is comfortable for a traveler to feel at home. The location is perfect. The units are surprisingly quieter than you would expect.

I love that every unit is unique. If you are looking for a small 'cookie cutter' hotel room please do not book one of my units. My units are meant for people that want the feeling of home, a touch of luxury and would like to visit a Bohemian Paradise that we call Fortitude Valley. If this is you, you should book one of my apartments.

Also, I only own one of these units. So this is the sharing economy at its best. The owners get paid rent, the property managers get paid for managing the property, I get paid by impressing you and the local community gets paid by growing this business.

Future***The next apartment I have attained is the Architects Loft. IT IS SOOO CUTE! I want to keep it for myself. However, once i figure out an apartment then I am happy to let other people experience it.
