Welcome to a beautiful, contemporary apartment facing the river Clyde and adjacent to the SSE Hydro & SECC. This fourth floor apartment is a 15 minute walk from Glasgow City Centre and is ideally located for those looking for overnights in connection with the multi-purpose events at the SSE Hydro & SECC, or weekend breaks to sample the wider atmospheres and attractions of Glasgow and Edinburgh, or a week-long base to travel further and see more of the amazing experiences Scotland has to offer.

In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host.

The apartment is accessed by lift or stairway and the entrance to the communal areas of the property is secure and operated only by electronic fob. The apartment is on the fourth floor and has a lock key entry system. There is one large bedroom with a King-sized bed and a writing/study area. There is also a large open-plan living/dining/ kitchen studio space with a three-seater sofa double-bed and a large three-seater leather sofa. All bedding is provided. The living space has full height windows with views of the Squinty Bridge, the Finnieston Crane and the Clydeside Pacific Quay area. It has a 36” TV with Sky Hub and Freeview channels.

The Kitchen/dining area has a dining table for 4 and is well-equipped with all appliances (washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and electric hob) and a full set of kitchenware and glasses. There is exceptional storage capacity with one large built in bedroom wardrobe and two walk-in cupboards. The apartment has one fully fitted modern bathroom with shower. Towels are provided. There is an iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. The apartment has free internet and WIFI available for guests. The Network Name and Wireless Password are within the Welcome Pack Folder provided upon arrival.

Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link.

Parking:
There is adjacent on-street parking located less than 50m walk from the property’s entrance. This parking is free after 6pm and 8am and all day on Sundays. There are also multi-storey car parks associated with the SSE Hydro adjacent to the property. The SSE Hydro car parking costs are £8 for 12 hours.

Finnieston is the most popular area in Glasgow, indeed the UK, at the moment. It has an excellent array of restaurants and bars all within seconds of the apartment. The Hydro and other attractions are a moments walk away. Also be sure to visit the closeby Kelvingrove Park and Botanical Gardens if you are blessed with good weather. Both park areas boast plenty of space for picnics, lovely walking paths and a green escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With views of the River Kelvin and Glasgow University's stunning ancient campus it is also a great spot for those looking to add a few instagram-worthy snaps to their collection too.

The apartment is in the perfect location for guests attending events at the SSE Hydro & SECC or simply wishing to sample the vibrant ‘gallusness’ of Finnieston and Glasgow City Centre. The West End – The University Quarter, Byres Road, Ashton Lane, Oran Mor, Kelvingrove Park – is also within comfortable walking distance.
