Underwaterjourney-snorkeling trip
Lets start the underwater exploration. There are two really spectacular locations we would take you to. At the beginning we would come to pick you up from your accommodation and then we would drive towards Capo Greco area. First place is located in Ayia Napa. There we would visit brand new underwater museum with around 93 statues. It resembles underwater forest, first of its kind in the world. There is a need to swim 150-200 meters but we have a buoy so you can hold in case of need for a rest. After that we would go to another location located about 15 minutes driving a car. Second stop itself is so beautiful with azul blue waters and some colourful fishes but you will have a big chance to spot turtles as well. Green Turtle and the loggerhead Caretta Caretta are the one residing in Cyprus. Here is also small underwater museum with little statues. Statues also attracts the fishes so overall experience is astonishing. And then we would drive you back to your accommodation. In order to have lifelong memory, underwater pictures and videos would be taken for you with gopro camera. Point to note: In this snorkeling trip we do not use the boat, we swim to both locations as they are easily accessible from the shore. We can pick you up from Larnaca, Ayia Napa or Protaras. Regarding the other locations upon agreement for some extra charge.
Sea Kayaking at a limestone area
We will set to explore a hidden beauty of Cyprus. The beautiful formation of the white limestone with the clear water and the sea life makes the perfect setting for a sea kayak experience. We meet at the designated launch site where we will provide you with the necessary information about the area and equipment (kayak, paddle, PFD). We will make a small introduction on how to paddle and self rescue techniques. Following on, we will practice what we learn in the water and the adventure begins. We set off and paddle together with a relaxed pace to discover hidden coastlines, small coves, and weave through rocks. On our way, besides learning the basics of kayaking and different kayaking techniques, we will get to know about the area, the Cyprus sea life and more importantly we can get to know each other better and exchange information about our culture. We will make one stop where we will have time to swim, snorkel and relax. We will also enjoy a morning coffee and a local snack before we will start to paddle back having spend an adventurous day in the sea. Other things to note This activity is suitable for first timers kayakers, and it is offered as an experience. Participants should expect moderate work out but we also adjust to the group strength and stamina. Most of the kayaks are double, so there is a chance you will be sitting and socializing with someone else.
Inside the Buffer Zone of Nicosia
This is not a regular city walk, but a passage through a town frozen in time. It will give you an insight into the current situation of the Buffer Zone “Green Line” off the beaten track, on streets that are hard to discover without the experience of a local guide. You will see the Venetian walls and how they form a boarder around the Old City, so unusual that once seen on a map will never be forgotten as a design synonymous with the unique shape of this ancient fortification. On our walk we will explore the Southern side of the city and follow the infamous “Green line” that cuts through the centre, separating the city into southern and northern sections. This division has kept the two major communities, of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots apart for more than four decades. Our journey begins at the Ledra Palace Hotel known in its era as the largest and most majestic hotels of the capital. You will witness life having evolved along either side of this schism, something once impossible to do until recent agreements between the two sides to open border crossings. We will explore Ledra Street located at heart of the aforementioned walled city now once again rekindled to one of the most popular pedestrian commercial streets accented by abandoned buildings reclaimed by nature through decades of lost time scarred by bullet holes, military outposts and barricades. Other things to note Kindly note that our walk could last between 3.5-4 hours with our break, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes! Group Tours are also offered with a slightly varied itinerary, tailored to your needs. Please ask for details and all arrangements can be made.
Lovely, hidden villages around the Cyprus
I will take you for a trip to see the unique places on Cyprus: • Pano Lefkara- village where silver and lace are producing, • Governor’s beach aka White Stones - breathtaking white stones with crystal water and amazing tarrace view, • Zygi - lovely, small village with fishermans around. We will have few hours to explore these places, no rush. *If you prefer to go this day for other experience - let me know* :] *It is possible to arrange trip for group up to 6 persons up on request - just let me know :)
Sailing with Magic
Attention! If you are not physically fit or have disabilities, PLEASE do not book this experience for your own safety! One of the benefits of being docked in Zygi is that it is between Larnaca and Limassol (Limassol being the closest). You can get a bus from Larnaca as well as from Limassol to drive you to Zygi. We shall cast off from the port of Zygi and head towards Governors beach, checking out the shore as we go. We shall open up the sails, kill the engine and let the power of the wind carry us. Right after the Zygi port we shall pass the docking station of Vassiliko where large freight ships are docked for loading and unloading cargo. Passing Vassiliko the fish farms will be our next checkpoint, where usually sea turtles and dolfins show up. Right next to the farms our final destination will be Governors beach, where we shall drop anchor and relax before heading back. Sailboats are not Power boats, although they go majestically, they are slower, so although this may sound like a small trip in reality it will be more that enough. Other things to note Please note that sailing may not always be possible if the weather is bad or if i think that it might turn bad. The available dates i have in the calendar are based on latest weather forecast and i try to watch it as often as possible. Safety as well as a pleasant experience are my main goals.
Giro-Sia Fatti un giro e scopri Nicosia a piedi o in bici
GIRO-SIA Benvenuti a Nicosia. Perché visitare Cipro? Per le spiagge? I suoi vini sapidi?
Explore the Abandoned, Ghost Town of Famagusta
On this guided tour, we will explore and walk through the abandoned town of Varosha, a Ghost Town that completely embodies the past, the present, and the uncertain future. The abandoned city captures your senses in so many ways. In what used to be idyllic scenery, time seems frozen, a city that is now a vast area of abandoned and ruined buildings. Wonder its streets and you will see huge urban tombstones marking the city, you will see old residential homes and apartments, hotels, commercial streets with abandoned shops, gas stations, restaurants, and even theatres that are now decaying and crumbling, there are so many ruins with rusty parts and an eerie wilderness. Turn a corner and you’ll see, sandy beaches stretching from north to south and the crystal clear sea, barbed wire caging in striking abandoned houses, and an overgrown town beyond reminding you that this is a Ghost Town. Varosha was once a tourist paradise, attracting holidaymakers and film stars, Cyprus's own Riviera until conflict split the island in two in 1974. More than four decades ago, its inhabitants were forced to leave to escape war, becoming refugees in their own land. Varosha has been cut off from the world for some 47 years, until its recent opening. If there is any place in Europe where you can still see what it means to abandon a city overnight, Varosha is the best example.

Make traditional Cypriot halloumi cheese
Visit us at our traditional stone-built Aperanti Agrotourism and join me (Sara) and my mother-in-law Maroulla in making the cheese that every Cypriot is proud of: halloumi cheese ! Maroulla is 70 years old and will bring to the experience the knowledge of the hand-made procedure that has been passed to her family from generation to generation. You will be able to assist us in some of the steps and to try the freshly-made cheeses as soon as they are out of the pot ! And off course you will get soft skin by dipping your hand in the warm milk inside the big pot! Anari cheese (similar to ricotta) is also produced as a by-product during the same process. At the end of the process, you will try both cheeses directly out of the pot and you will also taste some of our other products (home-made jams, olive pies, olive oil, olives in brine) and enjoy our home-made fresh lemonade. I will also take you for a short guided walk around our village and you will learn its history and how people were living here 100 years ago. Other things to note Contact us if you are interested in any date that is not listed. Also let us know if you have any children as they pay a discount price.

Learn to Wing Foil in sunny and warm Cyprus
It is no doubt the newest addition to watersport enthusiasts, Wing Foil, will stay on for a long time. It can be done in very light wind conditions by anyone all you have to do is give it a try and see how fun it fells. The experience begins with some Wing Foil fundamentals, and then getting into the water and practicing on a bigger board to assist upwind progress. Some of the basic skills you will need to learn like controlling power, steering, maintaining ground up wind, and self-rescue will be easier to learn without a hydrofoil trying to buck you off. The steadier you are on the board, the easier it will be to learn tricks with the wing. The ideal wing for someone at this beginning stage will be between 4m – 5m depending on riders’ weight and local conditions. The wing should be light and small so that it is easy to maneuver and to turn. These characteristics will also minimize wing tips catching on the water when controlling the power of the wing. As a professional rider, I will coach and guide you through the stages, even if you have no prior experience in water sports. Enjoy the warm, sunny weather of Cyprus while trying something new.
