Get to know the fruit and medicinal plants of Peru on this 2-day excursion near Machu Picchu. While walking through coffee, tea, cacao, avocado, and mango fields, we'll stop to taste the freshly harvested products. Along the way, we'll also help process the tea leaves and cacao and coffee beans in the traditional manner, before stopping to sleep at the country home owned by the farmers. The next day, we'll wake up early and trek over two hours through the mountains to a waterfall, with stop to admire the colorful birds and diverse wilderness of the area.
