Yi Jin Jing is an ancient healing Qigong art form and movement meditation. It's gentle, fun, and super beginner friendly!

It's a great practice to take with you on the road and once you learn it, it can be done almost anywhere.

We'll meet in my home and if it is sunny we will go to a beautiful park and then walk to a nice spot for Health Qigong class. You'll learn simple movements and techniques to relax and amidst the chaos of the city and stress of travel. The movements involve breathing, stretching the meridians, and enjoying the moment.
Other things to note
You do not have to bring a group of 8 people. You can join alone with other guest or with your friends. Rate is per person. All levels of experience are welcome. Bring your camera, water, and energy!

I was born to a Vietnamese family in France. I began studying martial arts with dad, and later studied Qigong, Kung fu and Taoist practices, including Zen and Heisei Shiatsu with European masters.
I qualified as a Health Qigong Instructor. I'm passionate about the power of Health Qigong to heal. I love what I do, and I love sharing it with everyone around me. I believe Qigong is for everyone, irrelevant of your current strength or flexibility. Don't worry about perfect just practice.

It was an amazing experience, the hidden park is a gem in the middle of London. Jean-Philippe is very skilled and friendly, he speaks fluent French and so he explained everything in French to me. I highly recommend him for a nice Qi Gong session 😊

This morning session of Qigong was great way to start a day! Jean started with some stretching and ended with a short meditation. The movements are easy to follow from Jean's example. The many pigeons and squirrels had a good time watching us. We recommend to bring food for a breakfast picnic after the Qigong session, the 'hidden park' is indeed really nice. Thank you, Jean!

This was a high quality experience for the price. Jean-Phillipe is a nice guy who leads you off the tourist and commuter route to a park hidden in plain sight. It is a quiet, reflective and cerebral experience. Definitely wear athletic clothes, as one of the first things you'll do is a brisk run through the city when it's just waking up. Do not put this off. Do not miss it. Do not shrug your shoulders at the price and think - 'oh it's not that expensive, it must not be good.' Enjoying moments like this, is why life exists. If harnessing your chi in a hidden park in the early morning hours of West London sounds good to you, this is definitely your thing. This lesson is an introduction, meaning - you will have to learn fast - however, the art itself is at a slow, purposeful pace. You'll catch on quickly watching Jean-Phillipe, and have fun. Wear clothes and shoes for light running and mild exercise. Remember London is often damp, so wear shorts if you don't mind a slight chill or getting a little wet from the grass. I wore light running pants, but you could easily wear leggings that could double as exercise pants. Please be aware that qigong is a modest art, so wear exercise clothes that show respect. One of the best things about this tour, is that when it ends you'll be perfectly positioned within an easy walking distance of London's best museums, and cafes. You'll have the time to go to a bakery, and be in the museum as it's opening. You shouldn't be sweating after qigong, so you could comfortably plan to visit the Natural History Museum (free entry,) the Science Museum (free entry) as well as the other galleries South Kensington has to offer. Just remember - don't bring a bag that's too uncomfortable to run with. It would help to wear clothing with zipped pockets, or an athletic bag that is easily handheld, or attaches to the body. I definitely think this is a high quality experience for the price, so if you're a morning person or you want to start your day feeling refreshed - definitely join Jean-Phillipe for a unique experience.

We'll walk a bit. Please avoid bringing heavy bags and valuables. Wear comfortable clothes and prepare to be outside! Dress according to the weather. Be ready to move your body in new ways! and don't forget to bring some water with you!
