I fell in love with Franschhoek almost a decade ago when I moved here and have done extensive research into its colourful history. I love showing it off to my guests. Steeped in history and surrounded by great beauty, the village history walk is an awesome way to learn about the area and have fun doing it!

We start off in the Main Rd of the village and learn about the earliest inhabitants, the culture at the time, the architecture and much more.
We turn up into the back streets of the village to view the oldest buildings, learning about the people who lived in them and hear their stories. After visiting a number of historical places we find ourselves back in the Main road and end at the huge church…
