After a brief presentation of our passion and work you'll be explained the secrets of the Recuit and our cheeses. One member of the family: one of the Nuris or my daughter Eva will share with you our knowledge of recuit and cheeses during the experience that will be completely personalised as you'll be the only visitors. You'll have the chance to appreciate the history and philosophy of our job while you go all over the experience. The workshop will be introduced to you in an entretaining way and you'll be able to see how we work. Moreover, you will have explanations about how we prepare artisan cheese and recuit. You will discover the goat milk which is not really common. How is goats life or which are the most relevant properties of this milk. Did you know that the time of the year influences on the quality of the milk? We will not forget throwing an eye to differences between different dairy, its nature and their elaboration process. After the guide you will, of course, taste the recuit! With honney, figues or sugar as you wish. Furthermore, you will be able to do many questions and clear all your doubts. Finally, you will receive a tiny gift: a piece of ceramics and cheese.
We are a little family company that started in 1972. At that time I was born, my mother, Nuri, had a flock of goats. With the milk she obtained started to experiment as she was really curious and ambitious. So this is how the recuit was born! The new dessert was well received around la Costa Brava and we got the artisan recognition. Now, following the tradition and with Nuri still helping we keep on the recuit production without loosing our essence: goat milk and familiy work. My name is Nuri. Following the steps of my mother and what she taught me, I'll transmit my passion to our visitors!
