Have you already seen the National Mall and visited more museums than you can count? Are you ready to explore a unique side of Washington that showcases most impressive architecture all while being led by a Presidential Campaign Staffer? To start, we will take in the breathtaking sights of North America’s largest Catholic church, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Hosting over 1 million visitors annually, this Neo-Byzantine style cathedral is as historic as it is “immaculate”. Following our time at the basilica, we will journey south to the storied Library of Congress, the de facto national library of the United States. Designed in a true, theatrical Beaux Arts style, the Library of Congress is home to roughly 16 million books. Following our time at the Library of Congress, we venture on towards our last stop: Eastern Market. This market, with typical post-Civil War industrial design, has been in continuous operation since 1873 and holds the title of being Washington, D.C.’s oldest open-air market. Here, we will engage the senses as we smell the handmade soaps & candles, feel the homemade garments and taste freshly baked goods from the local bakery. After we share a baked good or two, I will bid you farewell and send you off on the remainder of your own journey, a little fuller & wiser.
After nearly a decade of working in some of the most luxurious hotels in the world, I left my career as a luxury hotelier to make the world a better place through the lens of a presidential campaign. After seeing the world at the pinnacle of luxury, I realized it's my charge in life to change the world instead. Based in Washington D.C., I spend the majority of my time traveling across all 50 states to campaign for my candidate to win the 2020 United States Presidential Election. Along the way, I have built relationships with people you hear about in the news, unearthed some unique stories and created once-in-a-lifetime experiences you'd have to see to believe.
As we end the experience at Eastern Market, a baked good from my favorite baker is on me!
